Dr. Robert S. Heil

Robert S. Heil, DDS graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1997.  Following graduation, he was selected to a one-year general practice residency at the Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC) in Minneapolis, MN.  During this year, he received advanced training in all areas of general dentistry, as well as gaining experience in caring for medically compromised and injured patients.  At HCMC, he also provided dental care to children and adults in the operating room due to their various medical conditions.

Following his training, he practiced for one year in Burnsville, MN, a suburb of Minneapolis before moving to Appleton in 1999.

In addition to practicing comprehensive cosmetic and general dentistry for children and adults, Dr. Heil is extensively trained in Sleep Apnea Disorders and provides comprehensive services in this area of Healthcare.  Dr. Heil is the Provider with Arise Healthcare Network.

Dr. Heil practices by keeping in mind its relationship with your overall health and treating everyone as an individual.  He and his staff attend many hours of continuing education and advanced training each year.

Dr. Heather M. Heil

Heather M. Heil, DDS has been practicing general dentistry since 1999.  Dr. Heather went to Gustavus Adolphus College for under grad and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology.  She then attended the University of Minnesota Dental School where she received her D.D.S. with Honors.

Growing up in the Twin Cities gave her the opportunity to enjoy the arts, sports, lakes and the outdoors.  She moved to the Appleton area in the summer of 1999.

When Dr. Heather is not practicing dentistry, she spends most of her time with her husband, Bob, and their four children.  As a family they enjoy spending time outdoors biking, going to the park and taking long walks (only in the warm weather months).  She loves to garden and cook in her spare time.  She is also part of a ladies book club and a play group.  Running and golfing are two things she  enjoys doing but have not done a lot of either since the children were born.  Traveling is also something they love to do as a family.

In the practice, Dr. Heather enjoy seeing patients of all ages.  She finds dentistry to be an exciting career as it offers her the opportunity to be artistic and it allows her to care for and educate all of her patients.  Dr. Heather enjoy the variety of procedures that she is able to do as a general dentist.  She strives for excellence in all that she does.

Infection control in our office is also very important to us.  To protect our patients and ourselves, we strictly maintain sterilization and cross contamination processes using standards recommended by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
